About the Program

We value your interest and involvement in our program. Our goal is to create a community and culture where your daughter will improve their basketball skill and have a rewarding and fun experience.

Tryout Details

Tryouts will be held March 1st – 3rd at Millard North High School, Millard North Middle School and Kiewit Middle School. Tryouts are free and are for those entering 3rd – 8th grade in the Fall of 2026.

Dates & Times

Please arrive 30 minutes beforehand for check in. Please bring a basketball and a water bottle if needed.

About the Season

The competitive season for the teams would be during the Fall and Winter months. The teams would be made up of kids mostly who attend a Millard North feeder grade school, and who intend to attend Millard North High School. We will practice twice per week, with the specific nights yet to be determined. We will play in a one-game-per-week league and will enter various tournaments from October through early March.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will we know which team my daughter will be on after tryouts?

We typically assign players to teams in the Fall at the beginning of the season. Players will at times improve and we want to make sure your player is on the correct team and at the proper level for the development!

Who will be my daughter's coach?

We assign most coaches in the Fall based on team assignment. The Lady Mustangs Director has final say and is involved throughout the tryout process.
